YAY!
The Echo's gonna be shown soon! Yay! We have a thesis!

But I think the tag "Buksan mo ang pinto." is much more scarier than "Open the door. I know you're in there."

Oh, look, bullets
* I'm back home, enjoying a super long weekend (the teachers are having a faculty conference in Mt. Blah-blah). I've been here since yesterday and I didn't do anything productive. I just lazed on the couch, in front of the TV and watched reruns of BSG season 3 on Cinemax (wait, does that mean they're gonna show season 4 soon?) then, that evening, I re-read and edited my WIP Alias fic, which now has 25 pages (yay!).

* Speaking of Alias, Entertainment Weekly lists Evil Francie's death in S3 as a "Top 25 New Classic Farewells"

* Oh, and my printer's broken. Broken in a way that it doesn't respond to the command "print". It responds to "on" and "oh, the top lid is open, put the ink cartridge in the middle". What the frak is wrong with it? I guess it wants to be replaced?

* We have a thesis adviser already. The problem is, we don't know if we really want him to be our thesis adviser. :D

* I want to watch this movie

* Oooh, and Mary McDonnell Hijacks Edward James Olmos' Phone Interview. BECAUSE SHE'S THAT AWESOME. Very LOLable.

My news phone patch was great. I think everyone in the college sec office heard me
Dear Colonel Tigh,
I am writing to tell you that I admitted to the fleet that I have 'airlock issues' because the voices told me to do it. I hope you can accept that my Cylon love slave is why I can never see you again. If you could return my Cylon detector I’d really appreciate it and in return I promise to stop telling everyone that you like wearing my frilly pink underwear (even though you do) though it won’t be easy if you divide the fleet again. If anyone suspects, there’s always the option of surrender.

Warmest Cylon hugs,
Caprica Six

I'm going down to Manila later. After I take a bath.
OMG, (last) new episode of BSG (for the year) tomorrow! I'VE BEEN SPOILED, BUT I'M STILL EXCITED.

BSG 4x09 - The Hub
A bit late, but still...

This episode made my brain go 'splodey )

This is the first time I watched an episode on TV that had a scene that made me burst in tears (Burst in tears, meaning, BURST and not, oh-noes-I-have-tears-prickling-the-back-of-my-eyes-oops-they-fell tears) and made me feel bad. I had some moments like that in Alias, but they almost always never made me burst in tears because after those kinds of scenes, they have HOLY MOTHER OF THE LORD, WHAT THE HELL DID JUST HAPPEN?! scenes and you can’t afford to cry and gasp at the same time because your head will explode. And besides, no one had cancer there (oh, wait, there was Emily… and then she went into remission and subsequently, was accidentally killed) and almost everybody – well, only people with ovaries – can be resurrected (there were, of course, exceptions…)

BSG made me cry in front of my computer and made my head hurt.

I LOVE THIS EPISODE SO FRAKKING MUCH.

If I wanted to mingle with a bunch of geeks wearing leotards, I'd have stayed in art school.
I checked out promo pics of Pushing Daisies yesterday and I found them pretty so, I made a wallpaper.

I have two versions of this. The other one has a yellow-ish brown background. I couldn't decide what to save so I saved both. Lolz. :D

Oh, and my brother and I went to LTO a while ago to register for our student driver's license and I couldn't understand why they kept asking us for our TIN Number (or whatever... I think you get that in the Bureau of Internal Revenue...). I don't earn enough money for me to pass income tax returns, you know... And then, when asked why the frak we need to give them our non-existent TIN number, they just said it's a requirement.

BITCHEZ, WHY CAN'T YOU EXPLAIN TO US WHY STUDENTS NEED TO PASS TIN NUMBERS?

Apparently, it's another way of asking bribes, my dad said.

Anywhoo, we're enrolled na. Then the driving school will help us get student driver's license on Monday. :D Jeez.

Oh, yeah. I watched the new American Gladiators last night. My siblings and I used to watch it when we were kids (I think I was six when I watched it...) and it's fun to watch it again, 14 years later. HAH. I remembered my brother and I would beat each other with pillows, to recreate the competition where the gladiator and the contender try to beat each other with uber-big ear buds. HAHA!

I hate to be a bad host, but I'm sort of exhausted from chasing your coffin
Yesterday, when the internet was all wonky and angry at me, I watched a replay of Pushing Daisies's "pie-lette" episode. I liked it. It was poignant. It was different. It was happy and sad at the same time. It's also quite witty. And I liked the colors all around the eps, they're so vibrant and blinding and not what you expect from a show with dead people on it. HAHA.

In other news, I will never be able to beat the high score in the Addicted to Alias application trivia quiz whachever. I finished the quiz and I'M JUST IN SECOND PLACE. I BARELY GOT TO 20,000+++ POINTS! BOO! HISSSS! Now I know why there were 10000+++ repeated questions. They keep on posting questions so that they can answer, and therefore, gain points! HEH. Pzssft. I just noticed that they don't have a lot Irina-related questions (I could count them with one hand... I think...) lolz. I'd probably post some questions too, maybe super hard questions. HAHA.
